i just finished watching “8”, the on stage pretrial of the case to declare Proposition 8 Unconstitutional. I cannot say, from the view point of being homosexual, how this effected me. But looking out as an American, one that can marry whom i am attracted to in all fifty states, that i am disgusted by the arguments made by the defense. I fear for my friends who are part of the LGBT community that wish to marry, because it seems that bigotry and ignorance is still prevalent in this country. in some ways i am angry of my country, angry of it;s people, and sad, so very sad,that so many people are not going to be able to marry and love as they wish because we are too busy stuck in a nonconformist past to move forward and realize that this is not the future, Gay and Lesbian marriage is not the future but the present. A present that is great and bright in its own right.
